This week we're examining the ballsy task of remaking one of the most beloved and groundbreaking horror films of all time. Nobody could have been more more up to the task than the legendary Tom Savini himself, in his directorial debut. We'll talk about Dan scaring the shit out of himself as a kid by watching this movie outside and Muji's seeming inability to remember these events. We'll look at the powerhouse performances from Tony Todd (pre Candyman), Tom Towles (Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer, House Of 1000 Corpses), & Patricia Tallman (respected stunt performer in tons of major films and TV shows). The new twists that were added to what was almost an identical remake otherwise and so much more. Available wherever you find podcasts!
