SHV - S13E02 - The Shining (1980)

This week on Seeking Human Victims, we proudly present a giant sized episode (clocking in at over 2 hours), on one of the most influential works in the history of horror films and a very important piece of the Stephen King Terror Timeline, the 1980 Stanley Kubrick film starring Jack Nicholson & Shelley Duvall, THE SHINING.

The Rev (@revdanwilson), Dreamboat Anni (@DreamboatAnni ) & The Great Muji (@TheGreatMuji) will dig into Stephen King's trip to the famed Stanley Hotel that inspired the original novel, how it was the 3rd of as many works in a row to be adapted to the screen for him, why Stanley Kubrick pursued the source material to make a movie, the controversial treatment of Duvall, what King ultimately thought of the movie and how he disagreed with the casting of Jack Nicholson, the bizarre & insane conspiracy theories that have popped up around the film and so much more.

But that's not all!
